1st Day of School at CCHS

Sam will be attending school at Children's Care Hospital and School this year and we are so excited! We are sad to be leaving our friends from John Harris, but are excited about the new program at CCHS. Sam is thriving and trying new things. He is involved in a potty training program and he went pee pee on the potty on Thursday afternoon! We are so proud of him! Time will tell if it happens again, but it has to happen once to happen a second time, right!? They rolled out the red carpet and cheered and clapped for each kid as they entered the building on the first day of school. Sam is very content and happy at school and has a wonderful staff of people working with him.

There are no words to tell you, Sam, how proud of you I am --- and how happy for you I am that you are enjoying and thriving in your new school. It is sooo nice for Mommy to have a few hours to herself as well. May God continue to bless you, Mommy, and Daddy each new day. I was soooo happy to be with you that first day. What a grrrreat day it was!!!

Mommy Erin,
We are SO PROUD of you!! You did it! We know Sam will like CCHS - because you knew it was where he needed to be and worked so hard to make it happen. You're such a great mom!

Sam is a special little guy and it was great to see the smile on his face and that of his family during the first day of school at Children's Care! It was a an event not soon forgotten based on the impact seen on the faces of many children.
