Hi Erin I have ran into you a few time at the schools while we we both dropping our kids off at summer school.I came to your website afterI seen you in the sunday paper.Kaylee has microcephaly also her head stop growing at about 6 month. After I watched your video ,I cried. Becausde you and you hubby are going though the same things we are.I tell you Now Im just happy if my kid just make it though the day without a seizure, eats good without puking. She just got out of the hospital. She quite eating for awhile,I couldnt figure what was wrong.Turned out after test she had alot of stomach irritation due to acid reflux.I also was so severly depreesed I just coulnt stand it. I had 7 miscarriges before having Kaylee.I also full understand about trying to fight for thearpy for Kaylee. They all just wanna stick them in a chair and expect them to be happy pushing a button.I just wanted to say to you that my Kaylee cannot sit up by herself or move at all. To have sam move as much as he does is good to a point because all that moving around is good for his heart. We bought a adustable bed at south dakota furniture mart. She also had to sleep in a uprught postion. For years she sleep on our chest is the only way she would sleep. After we hot the bed she slept good. I just bought bodie pillows and put them all around her. Also Erin what I found with Kaylee sometimes she just enjoys watching Barney or listening to cmt channel. And just like to hang out in her room. One thing I would suggest which Kaylle enjoys is taking a whirlpool hot tub which we had put in our bedroom ,calms her down at night and goes right to sleep. The first time she ever started to sleep all the way though the night is when we decided to buy a camper. We went to Lake Madison I brought everything but the kitchen sink. Being out inthe cool warm breeze, walking around with her in her w/c letting her dip her feet in the sand and water. Was better than any of the so called thearpy she could get at school.Take sam camping if only for a nite.Let your husband take his fishing pole. And you two have some fun.Cause Kaylee is 12. If I talk to her about camping she just smiles ear to ear.We have been take her camping since she was four years old.I would rather take her camping in the summer than having her sit in a hot boring class room.Take some time and have some fun. Standaides, thearpy, and all that can be put on hold for a couple of relaxing nites at the lake. I was a freak ,I used to think I cant do this cause I gotta do this. Now I just do the things with her she loves. If you wanna drop me a email. Let me know Iwill send you my e-mail.Laurie Sfsd

Hi Jeff and family,
I saw you in the paper and went to your video. It was a very nice article and I'm glad to catch up on how things are going and I will check into this blog now too. We've live in Alcester for 4 years and I keep hoping I'll run into you in Sioux Falls sometime. All three of you, plus Sam's grandmas and grandpas, are in our prayers!
